Went back looking at your paints. They are not bad, but not knowing what pictures you submitted, i do think you're starting with an handicap if you dont have those good picture setup with soft lightning.

And also, me that did some competitive sport in an artistic field; its all subjective. Always be proud of what you do and appreciate it regardless of other subjective's judging

Anyone else notice the priest has a growth on his thumb? Or is mine just special?

Iโ€™ve seen mold lines on many of the priestsโ€™ outstretched hand.

That's my progress so far. Just black spray primed and off-white drybrush to create some good shading before painting. I've actually finished the houses and 2 trees with color... so I'll post a picture later. The broodmother has taken a bit more time and figuring things out. I'm pretty happy so far. I need to give the wounds some more stuff, and plan to drybrush/fade the bone spine/tail part to more white, just wanted the base to be brown-ish

Also, phone pics in mediocre lighting aren't the best for showing things off... another thing to learn.

Looks like the Jehovah's Witness are at your door. You should see what they have to say.

Look, I won't tell your employer that you paint on the job if you don't tell mine that I paint on the job. Actually, I think my productivity has gone up since I put a paint station in my office. So much easier to pay attention to some of those meetings with the bit of distraction that painting provides.

Are you guys using a lot of washes for your terrain or mostly starting with a dark color and dry brushing up? I tried doing the walls in a Grey seer prime then making my own washes but I couldn't get the color right. I was just being cheap and didn't want to use my GW washes. I did a second one primed in Grey seer and then a full wash with a blend of green, agrax, and drakenhof. Then I intend to dry brush a mid tone Grey then a light Grey for a highlight. Seems like a lot of work. Wondering if it's better if I just spray them all a deep Grey and then dry brush and skip washes?
