I think for the trees I'm definitely going to prime a deep brown then dry brush the whole thing.

Or black I'm not sure.

I never painted terrain before.

It was fun mixing homemade washes but I was never able to get the consistency right.

the walls I just primed grey then drybrushed

Houses painted > dry brushed > washed iirc

I did contrast paints with some highlights at the trees. Other is not painted yet.

I did a black spray prime for the base coat. Then heavy handed dry brush of of grey, then lighter dry brush of off-white. Then did contrast paints. Grey for the rocks, green for the moss. I made my own contrast paints with cheaper Vallejo paints, adding 50/50 mix of matte medium and flow aid until I was happy with the consistency.

Same concept for the houses and trees. Just base, dry brush base, then homemade contrast paints. Added some drybrush highlights to the trees

@Matt dry brushing was awesome for the terrain. Washes may work for the roofs but otherwise it was a dark brown base coat for the trees and a lighter brown dry brush for the bark. Dark-ish gray/brown for the rocks then lighter gray dry brush. Dark green for the vegetation on the rocks and house then lighter green dry brush. Hardest part was not getting green on surrounding paint.

niec got the same and some armypainter speed paints, but valejo are great to for getting started

Yall know that this GW "color spray stick" is a rip-off? A piece of 2x4 and blue tack does it
