Not happy how sentinels look, but should suffice to play

Maybe I'll paint either turrets or shell brown to make it look better. I thought i could fix it later when it looked absolutely terrrible with just speedpaint base on, but this time no amount of washes and drybrush helped

Mine are also green outside but the inner is yellowish with red wash

Now they look like pokemons

Sure. Everything is citadel paints 🙂 Step 1: Prime with a grey primer Step 2: Drybrush with Longbeard Grey Step 3: Shade all over with agrax earthshade followed by athonian camoshade. Step 4: Shade one some parts of some rocks with Drakenhof Nightshade Step 5: Drybrush with Longbeard Grey Step 6: Base coat the moss with Castellan Green Step 7: Drybrush with Straken Green, then Averland Sunset and then Yriel Yellow. Step 8: Enjoy 😄

Fill yer boots, but don't you think it'd be a bit odd if your trees looked just like your walls?

I’m sure you can do the same technique with the chimney. You can also do similar with the roof but maybe go more for browns instead of grays. The wood is pretty simple you can very easily just pick a color and then use washes. The trees can use the same brown dry brushing techniques. Then go in and paint the moss. At least that’s how I’d try to paint in the OP’s method.

Havent done the houses yet. I can write my trees once i have time, prolly not before sunday

Doing the armoury is my next task and I’m not sure how to go about it. I need a way to hold them while I prime and paint. I see you’ve got some wiring. Is it just wrapped around the joints?

So these are my trees 🙂 1: Prime 2: WOOD: Base coat with Dryad Bark, Shade with Agrax Earthshade, Drybrush with Gorthor Brown Followed by Zandri Dust 3: STONES: Base coat the rocks with Mechanicus Standard Grey, Drybrush with Longbeard Grey, Shade all over with Agrax Earthshade followed by Athonian Camoshade, Then spots with Drakkenhof Nightshade. Drybrush with Longbeard Grey 4: CYSTS: Base Coat with Rakarth Flesh, Shade with Carroburg Crimson, Highlight with Rakarth Flesh, followed by Deepkin Flesh followed by Pallid Wych Flesh 5: CORRUPTION: Base Coat with Barak Nar Burgundy, Highlight with Screamer Pink followed by Pink Horror. Shade with Carroburg Crimson 6: VINES: Base Coat with Waaagh Flesh, Shade with Agrax Earthshade, Highlight with Straken Green followed by Nurgling Green 7: MOSS: Cut out some peaces of a new cleaning sponge. Dip some in Straken green and remove excess paint until its nearly dry by tapping it on a paper tower. Then dap it around on the parts of the tree where you want the moss effect. Then do the same with castellan green, averland sunset and yriel yellow in that order tapping smaller and smaller amounts of paint and more sparcely on the model.

looks good but personaly i dont like the white zysts, like more the red glowing ones
