I have been using valejjo for a while now instead of Citadel primers, I can see how White Scar is different from the good ol' Corax. But hey, contrast paints are great on mostly everything, depending on the shade you want to achieve

Quick(ish) question on the miniature scale. Aware Oathsworn minis are a lil bigger than usual, but I canny find the blog/piece on the development (I recall one fae the first campaign but may be misremembering). The standard is 28mm, and these are 35mm with a bit of deviation? Does that sound right? I used tae do a bit of GW stuff way back when, but only got back into painting after Oathsworn, so trying to gather the knowledge as I go as a hobby 👍

The plastic for the hero and enemy are not the same? I have try to glue something on the encounter 10 with Citadel Glue, and the glue does not work. This not my usual glue that I use, but it was suggested for the hero.

The dark knight of darkness. It was really fun painting this one in black armor. Only Witch and allies left.

speedpaints get the job done quick, I suggest doing a black prime then drybrush white on top before putting color down

If you do this too much the layers of paint will cover up details.

Basically, black prime it... then use a brush with white paint (that you've mostly brushed off onto a paper towel) to show all the highlights off the model. Then when you use the speed paints it makes all the colors shade and pop even more.

It works so well! Especially if you like a grimy dirty look to the figures rather than super bright colors
