True story: I never knew this guy was an encounter until someone said so. This is spoiler territory, as per my experience. Also, we already had this conversation and settled that only the rat mother is OK, the rest is a no. Stop falling into the "this is commo knowledge" trap; it does not for everyone.

The rat and the wyrm are common knowledge for anyone that bought the game through kickstarter or has been to the page. If you didnt follow the kickstarter updates the armored dude would not be common knowledge to you though

The armored dude is in the artwork of the first kickstarter main page, same as the rat and wyrm though. Someone saying they didn't realize that artwork would be an encounter and finding out it is is a spoiler is clearly a real thing though, so sorry about spoiling that the super predominant artwork is in the game somewhere.

Its like if you're listening to a movie but the guy next to you spoil you everything because he listenend to the movie trailer way too many times and recall a few scenes glimpses from the trailer. Yeah the trailer was public, but not everyone tried to put much attention to it, nor listen to it at all to have the most fresh take on the whole movie. Its the same thing here.

Its like that time when one guy was showing all hidden minis from gloomhaven, stating that the game has been out for so long they became all common knowledge.

Anyways, i've made my case. @User please settle this "what constitute a spoiler" issue.

The Broodmother, Venerator and Wyrm are the only monsters we would consider to be non spoiler. We had to give a few examples so people could get a feel for the game without ruining the dozens of other encounter minis.

Wait?! You're saying that the giant rat on the box is actually one of the bosses. The whole game is spoiled for me now.

It's ok. I don't mind being the one who shake the box if it may remove any gray zone. That being said, i'll head out until i've met those encounters in game so I keep my playthrough as much as unspoiled to my likings. Not that it matters but anyways

I don’t think information about the models is fair game, just the models themselves. Not wanting to see painted models for wyrm or venerator makes sense though if you’d rather the fine details of the model remain a surprise. Not that you need my permission 😂

To my perception its a tricky line of what would be a spoiler, and humans being humans, no one will intertrep the same way. One time this guy will come and say "here is my mini for chapter 123 the wyrm!" et voilà, spoiled!
