Hi guys, we played chapter 4 this night. On the special rules board is written: pray on the week. We thought this should be a special key phrase coming up on the stage cards, but I didn’t come up there. So we should have treated it like a permanent trait?

Yes. Prey On the Weak is constantly in effect

Thanks for the answer! I don’t have the boards before me now, but I think that Pray on The Weak was written in cursive. Does that mean it is a permanent trait? I thought it was the sign for the special order coming up with the stage cards? Or how could we distinguish between permanent and special orders ( for stage cards)?

Cool encounter, by the way, although we expected that the four different characters of the Scar Tribe would do different attacks from the beginning

The mob attack did it in the end

I'm not sure I can give you a strict method to follow, but generally speaking the targeting rules are always active.

Ahh okay, that makes sense, so something like „Transfix“ in chapter 2 is a special attack and in this case it is a target rule. Will respect this in the future fights to come. Appreciate your input!

Yeah that was a shame. I never saw the bone maiden or the shaman do their things!!

I went for the leader with the 2 dice first. And weaken everyone so that after escalation they where easier to kill off.

When you break the hp die of an tribesman that has only the one die, do you remove that tribesman from the board? Or do they all stay and still get to act even with no hp die on some?

Remove it from the board and then perform the reaction

Thanks. We had two tribesmen next to each other, one hp each left. Knocked back one into the other, so both dead. We removed the one that got knocked back, did a reaction, which moved the one that got knocked into somewhere else. After finishing the reaction, we removed the knocked into tribesman and performed another reaction card. Was that all correct?

I suspect we did it slightly wrong. Since they both took damage simultaneously, should we have removed both and drawn 2 reaction cards, done one and then the next? So the slightly wrong was leaving the knocked into on the board, who participated in an attack from the first reaction card

your suspicion is correct, they should have both been removed before resolving two reaction cards. The only time you leave a defeated enemy on the board is if you remove multiple dice when you remove the last die, then you leave the most N->W enemy on the board to carry out the reactions as applicable (there isn't a reaction from removing the very last die)

When a stage card happens, do you move all tribesmen, then have all tribesmen attack? Or move and attack one by one? I know some cards specify specific tribesman do stuff individually, not referring to those

I know minions all move first, then all attack. I can’t tell if that rule applies to multiple bosses as well. I assumed yes, or the mobbing of drawing multiple enemies cards all together would almost never happen

The card should say something like all other tribesmen move and attack. Do you have a specific card that you're referring to?

I’ll go get the cards for examples in a couple minutes

These 3 don’t specify which tribesman move and attack, so I assumed all move, then all attack

It doesn't make sense to have that language on the stage 3 cards. Only 1 Scar Tribe member is alive at that point
