    I think we’ve had 3 knockouts in 4 chapters on normal difficulty, for our first time playing. (Not including the Penitent sacrificing himself in chapter 3.) So, we’re doing about as well as you, if that helps, but you have permadeath to deal with.

    Just finished the encounter. It was great. The priest died and the other three had 1 or 2 hp left. Very well played out.

    Yeah this was super hard, especially as my party arrived all with 3hp (from trying to save survivors…)

    Next time I play through these chapters (which could be soon, if we keep losing Oathsworn) I'm gonna suggest we leave everyone for dead!

    Yes… you’ll have civilians around again and I am deprioritizing being the heroes… I’ll do the right thing when possible but when a monster is buzzing around it’s their business to run away 😉

    During this fight, we never had to worry about the civilians. They stayed in place, and we only lost two.

    That’s interesting - how was that possible? Some of the tribe members are quite far from you, and on their first activation, they will target closest civilian if you are not closer. I see it almost unavoidable to loose a few!

    The two we lost were on the first round. After that we were always within their range.

    Cool. I couldn’t keep a lot alive (but granted, didn’t focus on that, pounded boss to death first turn).

    I spent about half an hour strategizing my first round... Managed to save all civilians by using a lot of movement that first round, and a strategic taunt

    Amazing! Yes I also had Ranger but my focus was on hurting the tribe as quick possible.

    we are roleplayers and tend to be the heros, so instead of beeing grim and kill the beast we try to save first and take some blows 🤣

    Me to. And I tried and saved I think 6. But prioritized hitting them hard at the onset. Came into this with 3hp on all heroes due to me not eating to be a hero and leave the food for the survivors….

    yeah we came at 4 since we rushed through the drepwood, of us get downed and we saved 11

    As did I. Not sure if that was absolutely necessary. My first stage card was the hook chain, so I positioned to make him drag me close enough to the furthest enemy
