Yeah that's the feeling I get. I really like Clion and Resharper, but I can't fault their stuff for being a tad bit behind web wise since it moves so fast. Having thousands of people voluntarily develop your ecosystem for you definitely helps you keep up. Webstorm feels like it would do great with React, Vue, Angular ect, but not these niche frameworks that VS code is easily adapted to

I'm trying to iterate over this object, it's a file tree output. I can't seem to go as deep as the first child it outputs like this

I'm not sure what's the issue, is it that you parse the json, but then you can't iterate on the parsed object?

When I try to access the other children, they're only outputting as [Object] instead of displaying the actual properties

i could possibly be explaining this horribly but for the most part, I can output that entire object, but I don't know how to get deeper into it I guess

Can you access the actual properties? Like if you did:

I'm guessing this is just a printing issue, I don't see why it wouldn't work otherwise

earlier I was just trying to grab the filepaths, and it was coming out as just the first local/gallery filepath rather than including the children as well

So like I thought, it is a problem of printing. `console.log` chooses what it wants to show, and what it wants to abbreviate with `[Object]`.

It's odd that most people take notes on apps that require their notes to be divided into pages

Google docs is horrible for note taking, excellent for writing papers

The whole, just having an endless slate to type madness into really makes these text editors wonderful

Guess the page split comes with the need to make the tool WYSIWYG. The majority of people who use Google Docs (at least what I think the product is intended for) wants them to be printed, or be easier to grasp how it looks like once it's printed.

+ compatibility with existing office suites and alternatives that pretty much the entire world has been using for the past 30 years.

Ah yeah that's true, it's extremely important and useful tool, but I'm about to start college and I couldn't see myself ever getting organized with something like that, It would be like in real life with my notes scattered everywhere except digital lol

I definitely had a lot of google docs scattered everywhere during college 😅 didn't feel great bulk deleting it years later. felt like a giant waste of my effort.

I am, the college accepted the 43 credits I had from the Air Force and applied them to core classes so I'm 2.5 - 3 years away from my bachelors in CompSci

Feels great to save time and money on transferred credits!

Hmm, I'm not having any issues with `discord_arch_electron` which uses the system electron so it's more up-to-date

For some reason pamac wasn't capable of retrieving the files for that, so I uninstalled what I had from the AUR and went to discord.gg and just did everything manually and it works fine

I'm wondering if the AUR is behind on updates

There should be an option in the schema yml files to add an output directory inside the vault
