currently our sync mainly relies on git. unfortunately this is non-trivial to setup, especially on windows where credentials are involved. we're working on making this process easier but if git is giving you trouble, obsidian might be the better choice at this point

would try it out after I finish my stuff but it doesn't seem hard I think dendron will move to another publishing service (React + nodejs? forgot lol), not sure if it'll work on that though

We are moving to next.js. I don't think there's any reason it shouldn't work.

There's also Utterances, which uses GitHub issues for comments. Just sharing in case Staticman doesn't play nicely with Dendron. https://utteranc.es

It's kind of amazing that there's no decent stand alone kanban software out there

I use a vscode extension for that stores data in markdown. So I can even add things on mobile

You know you're absent minded when you decide to try out Webstorm to see what all the hype is, only to find out it doesn't do all you really need it to, and come to the guys making a VS code based app to ask their opinion on it

Yeah I can't see myself switching to this. Jetbrains has some sick IDEs but I don't like this one in particular.

seems nice, but if I see last commit 10 months ago I'm probably not going to use it, as it's not actively maintained.

JetBrain's IDEs are very well suited for compiled languages. Their Java and C# editors are top notch compared to other offers like Eclipse/Code::Blocks/VSCode

Though their offer for web and python is a lot less impressive compared to VSCode
