    Hi, does Dendron notes fully support Chinese character, eg: searching & refactoring Chinese words?

    if your normal OS supports that, than VS COde should support it as well.

    Could try: -
    Ctrl+Shift+P
    (or
    Cmd+Shift+P
    when on MacOS) ->
    Dendron: Refactor Hierarchy
    ->
    dendron.slack
    ->
    dendron.o
    - Then review what it says it plans to rename to see if it is including everything you expect to be renamed in the hierarchy Also: Welcome to the community discord! A good place to usually ask questions would be in #735365126227493004 . This chat channel is usually where general chat happens, so may not get as many eyes on your questions if you do so in this channel.

    I really really really want to use dendron, but I just dislike the frontend. Just being honest. But the backend is unbeatable. Anyone want to work with me to figure out how to build a new frontend? Thinking of using Astro.

    is it just me or has there been a slowdown in activity on this discord server since the beginning of the year?

    True. No updates and activity. Surprising to see that from the Dendron team as they release updates every week.

    Unless you are a donator or another contributor, I think these discussions are in poor taste for a free open source project. It implies like a certain amount of activity is obliged.

    I don't think it is in poor taste to ask about the status. I just discovered dendron. It would be good to know upfront if the project is alive or dead before committing any time to setting it up

    where are you probing? have you checked to see if they have like other commits or responses to non-dendron things?

    like there are still a bunch of private commits in https://github.com/kevinslin?tab=overview&from=2023-01-10&to=2023-01-24

    yeah it looks like folks are still active on non-dendron stuff - and whilst it is a FOSS project and nobody is entitled to anything - this is an usual pattern of behaviour given that up to early dec everything was very active and there were weekly releases. Has anyone reached out to the team via the support@email? I'd definitely discourage people from approaching individual core team members directly. If there are difficult conversations happening behind the scenes, the last thing they need is randos approaching them!

    On the surface, I hear you. I was more concerned with the health/ mental health of Kevin and the team, but I do see they are making commits. I too was excited to receive updates every week, I looked forward to them, I just think we need to be patient for now :).

    earlier today, playing chicken-v-egg in a long tech hiring cycle, I figured out that my steady decline in credit score is also a proxy for the steady decline of my mental health; thanks credit karma

    I just installed Code GPT extension...meh. Its nice in the regards that I can stay in my IDE. But there are soooo many things that I want it to do to fit into a workflow!
