I personally really like how Daybreak looks in both the note and preview, since I like its combo of dark with warm colors. This is the Italic variant; I think there are three built-in variants. I don't actually usually have the Dendron pane open, but I figured I could include it in this screenshot instead of showing the file explorer with all my actual note names. ๐Ÿ˜… If you haven't already seen the VSCodeThemes site, you've got a lot of other options to play with! https://vscodethemes.com/?type=dark

thanks for the suggestion! I will take a look. Sadly the checkbox also looks badly in the preview, what a bummer.

you need to run "initialize workspace" which loads a workspace context and that doesn't work well in vscode web

dendron runs as a web extension which means you don't need codespaces but the web version of vscode which runs on the client and is free (press
    .
    on any github repo)

this means if your repo is on github, you can just share a link

theres supposed to be a setting where we can either auto install or prompt users to install - but until we get that working, you would have to ask folks to install it (though this is only required once, extensions are tied to a github account)

honestly not even a big deal. this dx is 100x better than codespaces. codespaces was so slow too lol. (EDIT not a big deal but obviously ideal to autoinstall, looking forward to that)
