I cannot seem to get Dendron installed properly. I have the extension installed on VS Code, but I get an error when trying to run the tutorial: > Command 'Dendron: Launch Tutorial' resulted in an error (command 'dendron.launchTutorial' not found) I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling Dendron and continue to get this error. Now whenever I open VS Code I get the following error: > {"errno":-1,"code":"EPERM","syscall":"scandir","path":"/Users/username/.Trash"} Anybody have an idea of what's going on and how I can fix it?

hmm, do you use a portable version of vscode? dendron stores some metadata in

$HOME/.dendron

- it looks like your $HOME was set to

.Trash

?

I'm a bit of a newbie but I don't believe so unless that's the default installation method. All I did was install from microsoft's website. I'm not sure what's happening with $HOME, when I check in the terminal it's set to

/Users/username

you can export as pdf using pandoc after running exporting it to markdown. is that sufficient?

if you want something that looks more like the webview, I think you could use

do most ppl here use mermaid for speccing out architecture etc in dendron? how about on the dendron team @User ? i'm curious how well it realistically scales in comparison to a traditional drag and drop UI tool

another thing that i am interested in , in terms of flowcharts and architecture is the composability. one really nice feature of dendron is the ability to compose notes within other notes, it would similarly be nice to achieve the same with diagramming. just brainstorming here

i like mermaid b/c i used to use graphviz and mermaid is so much nicer in most ways

for bookmarks, we are experimenting with using dendron to manage links. see https://handbook.dendron.so/notes/2mb2cpqjxnb2zhcmpukhcde we'll most likely add features to make this workflow better in the future (eg. go to note will open the link of the bookmark instead of the note)
