I have the first customer with Windows Server 2025 and WEM 2507. I was expecting to pre-configure the pinned start menu icons, but the tool for the JSON generation is only applicable for Windows 11? So WEM can't manage the pinned menu icons for Windows Server 2025?

Yeah, can't use it for S25. I opted to configure a S25 Start menu the way I wanted it, and am copying the Start2.bin file to the Default User's profile. Works fine for me.

Thanks for the confirmation. That is sad and confusing. I thought Windows 2025 start menu = Windows 11 start menu (from a WEM perspective)

Microsoft just being Microsoft, really. That said, I hate how it handles the Start layout in 11, and this is admittedly easier. W10’s XML method should have stuck around.
