Sorry I took so long i hadnt done it in a while and wanted to test it. Create a new vsphere packaging connector and use it to create a platform layer for vsphere. Make sure to use the offload composting connector and make sure you have a good vmware template to use to define the packaging machine parameters including vmxnet3 for the nic. when the packaging machine boots up install vmware tools first. Then install the VDA and whatever else you need to do in the platform layer. If you just want to use layers you have in xenserver nothing special to do just create images templates as usualy and again make sure to have a vsphere template defined in your mcs or vsphere connector (if using pvs)
