Don't quadro make a half height?

The K1200 is double width; I think the K620 may be half height and low profile.

    Aha - around $200: http://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/nvidia-quadro-k620-2gb-graphics-card?jumpid=ba_r329_hhocse&aoid=51293&003=6663635&010=J3G87AT&CAWELAID=120281700000005596&CATARGETID=120281700000147569&cadevice=c

Here's the full Quadro lineup: http://www.nvidia.com/object/quadro-desktop-gpus.html A K620 or K420 would probably be a good option.

Yes, and is probably a good choice of power vs. size and reasonably priced.

Still, a big jump from the K620.

I like 1200 as it performs well for benchmarks as good demos

If you can afford it and it fits, the K1200 is a very good option IMO. You should also be able to readily scale performance compared to other specs available for the higher-end Quadro boards since all that is well documented.

wx 4100 /w 4 GB of RAM is nice. Also "future-proof" (up to 5k) video. Around $300.

Yeah, no kidding! Unusual for here as 2 days is generally always how long it takes give where we're situated. Prime also lures you in to the Kindle world, etc.
