I use a flat head too for the hard ones but they spin as they pop out and the corner jabs right into the thumb. Gloves changed the game. Just pop them in/out and don't feel a thing.

I'll be adding some rubber sticky pads to the undersides towards the rear of any shelves this close to equipment. The rear will sag with load since these only mount using the front rails. This will prevent scratches to equipment.

@User just one reminder on the CE part with NUC6- you have to adjust the installer json file to take on the 2core, CE has a soft requirement for 4 core CPU. My mobile lab has 2xNUC6i5 and 2xNUC6i7. Also the CVM will take at a minimum 12GB of RAM, 16GB is recommended and if you want to enable AFS and/or SS you will have to take it to 24GB so not much RAM to spare

Yeah I know, thanks. You can run 8GB without any problem. AFS/SS as well can be tuned down from 24GB so let's see how it goes when I get my 4 node running in the end of March.

@User how do you adjust the installer? Maybe that's why mine kept failing on the NUC 🙂 I'm adjusting my CVM down to 8 per https://next.nutanix.com/t5/Nutanix-Connect-Blog/Part-I-How-to-setup-a-three-node-NUC-Nutanix-CE-cluster/ba-p/15257 if I can ever get it working!

Okay, I have not install Nutanix CE on NUC's yet, I did that on my MAC Mini's and tuned the memory, only had 16GB in those babies.

    I'm doing the budgets now, but a NUC 6th 32GB & Samsung EVO 850 SSD 500GB + Samsung 960 EVO M2 is $932

So if you go with E200D and same storage the price will be almost double at $1743, but you get double the memory & 10GBase-T / IPMI etc etc

memory tuning should work in this way. but someone in next forums posted about issues with the latest build when lowering cvm ram https://labratshq.slack.com/archives/general/p1486984942001628
