I finally got all the screens mounted. Excuse the cable management, everything is still in progress. The single Hades Canyon can power all 6 of the 55” screens but sometimes after a reboot one screen won’t get an HDMI signal (as pictured) and it takes some messing around with display settings to get it to work. Also after a reboot sometimes the resolution and position of the screens gets messed up and you have to manually go into display settings to drag around the monitors to their correct positions.

I think I figured out what the problem is. Everytime I power off the displays and power them back on, Windows is autodetecting them as new hardware (makes that sounds like you just plugged in a USB drive) and then tries to adjust my resolution from 3840x2160 at 29 Hz to the same resolution but at 59 Hz. This 59 Hz is something the NUC can't seem to handle across 6 displays so it causes one of them to flake out like in the pic above. Everything seems fine at 29 Hz. I found this guy making a device to stop Windows from freaking out by tricking it into thinking the monitors are always connected. Has anyone tried something like this before? http://monitordetectkiller.com/

Lots of Ubiquti fans here I know. Anyone using or have installed a multi site UniFi Camera solution? If so, I'm curious about your thoughts on it.

Multi-site as NVR in hub/spoke with cameras on the spokes and central NVR or multi-site as in multi-nvr; NVR at each site?

FWIW, we have one camera at a remote 'site'. Full Unifi stack since it's a pop-up/tear down (Regus) site when trial teams go out. ipsec back to the controller/nvr (Windows) and single g3 flex only (so bw is not much of a consideration). Heads up, if you choose to expose the nvr and go over the internet, Unifi IPS will intermittently block by default the port 6666 video stream

@User I'm thinking the smaller NVR at each site. We have 14 sites. Our main location I'd put the larger NVR at because we have like 40 cameras there. However, I'd want one portal to rule them all and not 14 portals.

I'm also considering putting full Unifi gear at our newest location. It's a healthcare clinic that will have about 10-15 staff and probably 50 company devices. We use Extreme for L2/L3 and Sonicwall or PA for firewalls right now.

Lets know how it goes Steve. I’ll be picking up the new Cloud Key with NVR and a couple of doom cameras for new office & apartment. So one in each site :-)

Yes, that's a terrible analogy to make with over 600 million people worldwide who do not even have access to any sort of "improved water system" (https://www.cdc.gov/healthywater/global/assessing.html).

If you put GTM/GTW on your 50»+ TV, do you use a NUC or ATV and how do you output the audio? Thinking NUC with Sonos Soundbar, but would need keyboard (or TeamViewer from Office PC)
