I need to find a new host or host it myself (which I don't really want to do)

Need some KVM suggestions. I don't need anything crazy but fast switching for keyboard/mouse would be awesome. I can't seem to find a keyboard with a KVM built-in. That would be handy. Quick 'caps lock' like button to switch output to another machine would be pretty cool.

@User Thanks. Unfortunately I need a KVM for raw KB/Mouse. The things I am switching to (Samsung DEX, XenServer) aren't able to run the agent.

Anyone knows how long Vsphere 6.5 with Vmfs6 DS needs to free Datastore space back after data has been deleted inside a VM? (Deleted 70gigs, sdeleted partition and shrinked partition) Maybe i missed something but it should be enabled by default with 1MB block size and Space reclamation priority low (default) - waited 24hrs and nothing happened. Maybe some dependencies to GuestOS/Vmtools?

Ok found out: needed to run Vmkfstools —punchzero <vmdk> on Esx cli for each disk. After all i didn get what the Vmfs6 auto reclamation feature is worth then, but i am no Vmware expert :)

One customer just asked me which thin client brand to try for 2018. i personally would go with igel 1st and wyse or hp 2nd. All their fat clients are from hp today and i am a little bit scared of the hp sales guys after they sold them a lot of Moonshots and we are now fighting with the mgmt consoles and technical limitations that were never mentioned in sales phase. (If someone needs details, ask) I see Igel for its good mgmt console, usb stick solution and german support within our timezone. Does igel send out demo units for testing ? Its for office workers with 2 displays maximum, so a ud3 should work.

have to agree, always been my first choice in the EBcs,, Event floors etc... so easy to manage and change at a moments notice, especially now with udp and leveraging older devices

HPs that we have tried out in the past performed badly. Will be interesting to see how NUC and Raspberry Pi units perform. Even a low-ish end NUC is over $350, though, once you put all the pieces together.
