Don't they have that 10G XG switch with both Ethernet and SFP+ 10G ports?

    SFP+ 10G = Ehternet. Do you mean RJ45?

They do. I'm thinking they want all RJ45/10GBase-T.

Cloud keys are great, love those things. Though Sacha was telling me he was having trouble with his and was working with Support on a solution.

Ring Pro question for you. In the Windows 10 app, how can I get Live View to work for longer than 30 seconds? I have no problem with Live View staying active on my iPhone or iPad.

Has or is anyone using Microtik hardware? How is the RouterOS? Any comparison to Ubiquiti? I see that their caP AP's can be stand-alone or central with built-in controller software (Capsman), unlike Ubiquiti. No client application yet, just looking for my personal built-out basement project. Thoughts?

@User Now after having it in for a bit in 95 F Texas heat I can tell you it works very well. I have the fan in Auto mode so it will bump from low through high as needed. When it's on high, yes it's loud even with the door closed. I plan on putting a different door in later which will dampen the sound. It cools very well and keeps the server room between 70-73 F on average. The one mistake I did on the initial install was expand the exhaust duct to 5 ft. trying to get the unit closer to the server rack. Once I compressed it back down to 2 ft. it runs far more efficiently and is able to cool the whole room very well. The trick on these portable devices seems to be fully sealing both ends of the exhaust duct with that foil tape and making sure there are no hot air leaks back into the room. Next up is insulating the duct itself using a duct sleeve I grabbed at Home Depot. I've got all my usual gear on plus an SDX 11000 series I'm upgrading this evening in there and it's still only 72 F. I'm very impressed with it. My electric bill this summer will probably be a different story...

If anyone has SFP+ on their UniFi switch I can recommend these transceivers: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LSGGCTW/ Picked one up for $23.86 to test and so far I'm connected at 10 Gbps to an SDX with no drops. Btw the Citrix transceivers are vendor locked and don't work with the switch. You'll need these Ubiquiti ones on the switch end and whatever manufacturer of your device that's compatible with said device on the other end.

And if you're looking for a good headlamp I suggest the Streamlight Argo HP: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00081NHBA I had a little mishap with a transceiver dust cover going into the wrong transceiver and this trusty little guy I've taken into some really remote (i.e really dark at night) parts of the world helped me perform the surgery to get it back out. Highly recommend everyone have a head lamp in their tool kit.

Blah one of my 850 EVOs went belly up in my QNAP yesterday. Totally froze and actually became disconnected. Popped it out and back in and ran SMART tools but they bombed. Guessing it's time for an RMA!
