The Up book was ready for approval today. After looking at it we noticed a few errors. I corrected them. 1.) Adding commas to the “look” phrase 2.) Adding a comma instead of a dash at the back cover, and 3.) moving the front individual book cover down slightly. It is in the revision process again.

I am attempting to upload the Up book to Amazon for the Kindle. At first I was unsuccessful to upload the front cover file because it was around 720px x 720px. The requirement is a minimum of 1000px. I increased the cover in Illustrator and adjusted it. Then I had to export it as a jpg and RGB. It went through now. simple smile Yay!

Phew! I did it. I created the mobi book and uploaded it with the book cover to Amazon’s Kindle program for the Up book. simple smile Now I need a much needed rest.

It was exhausting but I wanted to have the experience. I even added one word "house" to the text pop up just to try it out.

We have around $13 in royalty sales on Amazon. Part of that is from the book we bought. We may have a little from the other account. I think 1 person may have bought the Grandparents Kindle book.

Just to let you know. Since the inside of this book is shorter and I made it black and white, I was able to make a reasonably higher markup on it than the other books. simple smile

WP Instagram account - I uploaded an avatar last night. Today I put our first photo (of the website banner). T&F IG account - I announced our WP IG account and mentioned a giveaway to one of our followers “just for following” and to go there to stay posted on that for a paperback. WP Twitter - I wrote and linked to our WP IG account. Then I Retweeted the Seewald’s recommendation of the Grandparents’ book. Then I followed a number of people and accounts on our WP Twitter account.

I just paid the $25 revision fee for the Hardcover Up book. I changed the inside file only since the price on the book cover was still very good. I also chose the colored 75lb premium paper colored option instead of the 50lb black and white we had sampled.

When I entered the transaction above for the Up book revision, I selected the NFCU Checking account. I hope that's correct.

I just approved the color version of the hardcover I'm Up,Up,Up book that's been ready. I also entered it in to the Children's Advance Catalog for distribution. That cost $60.

The Up hardcover book started showing up on Amazon yesterday. :-) The image has not been uploaded yet but the image for the Kindle version is still showing as a selection.
