You’re welcome! I tried to do on my own last week like I had mentioned in previous Slack messages. I used all the Amazon accounts on our pass app and didn’t seem to see anything. So I will wait for you since I don’t know what else to try. I did see that it was listed under my author account but I don’t know where we have been paid to. I think that will help us know.

With the cover, I’m not sure if that is our job because we may want (as the publishers) a different one. I’m planning on adding one myself since I found the tif.

I’m planning on talking to them about the cover first.

I called Ingram. I also added their phone number, address, and website information to our Contacts. They said that it usually takes about 4 weeks to get their distributors to upload all the files including the book cover. She got our account information to help speed things up or at least get looked at. She also said to call them if we don’t see anything changed in 30 days on all channels.

I called Ingram again. They said that we are only allowed one type of the same book in the catalog which is the hardcover that I chose, at least what he says it’s showing. He also said that both versions of the Mommy Daddy book are showing distribution but it takes Amazon some time to work on that. When the Grandparents one gets approved, then I will add those to Amazon. So we paid for the Mommy Daddy book already.

Phew! I just added a lot of reviews including a back cover review, another About Author (that’s placed on book page) to both versions of the Mommy Daddy book.

I sent Matthew an email asking if he has the jpeg file of the front cover individually and without his name because I still don’t see it. I asked for it before. The only jpeg I see is in the ebook file and it is the title page with his name on it. So currently on Wholesome Press we have the old book cover that doesn’t have the comma in it. I might change it to the title page for now since it is more grammatically correct.

I sent various emails to Matthew and this is the latest one: "I'm so sorry. I'm keeping the older image (without the comma) on Wholesome Press instead of using the ebook file title page tiff (converted to jpg to make smaller). It was making a neon hue after the upload. So strange."

I just added the Grandparents book (both versions, Hardcover and Softcover) into the Children’s Catalog on Ingram Spark for a cost of $60 each and $120 total just now. It should be available on Amazon in a week if not 30 days from now. simple smile

It looks like we may have had a response from either Guinn’s IG (and FB) post yesterday or a combination of that and our efforts (my postings yesterday and recently too). I see a spike in rankings on Amazon for the Kindle Grandparents book as well as one of the print books I believe of the Mommy Daddy book and then the Kindle for it. These spikes most likely occurred with just 1 sale of each but you never know. 1 sale is enough to do a huge spike since many go for days and months unsold. We haven’t sold a Kindle book in a very very long time. I’ve also read many times that having more than one book helps the sales of other books in the even that sometime finds your material. That is why many successful Kindle authors (who make a little for each book) recommended that you keep churning out books. simple smile
