They also make great gifts. I’m thinking of a “consumable” item, but also how to stand out from the rest by looking at their complaints which I’ve known about and what wanted to address for a long time such as: covers they can write on (not glossy); blank pages; books they can open up like saddle stitch; comic pages that don’t show through to the other page (like the 70lb more expensive option); book covers that are blank; book covers that don’t say what the book is but Createspace requires for publishing --- all of which you can’t do with Createspace, but I can do with Ingram Spark and also another printing service.

Mr. Blumenfeld was a very good friend of his and he inherited a lot of his things to sell for the foundation including access to many things that is now offered for free for which they ask a donation for.

Trello may seem like the best option in some ways for long term use, but when you add a photo, it doesn’t seem to automatically be added to the thread. Also, can you screenshare and make calls on Trello? 

My other concern over Slack is that over time the photos like logo images shared have disappeared there. I know it’s not a sustaining place for things like photo files, but is painful when it is the fastest and easiest (especially for someone like Cathy who is not well-versed with as much business software as we are) way to share that.

I spotted a number of issues and errors including the new reduced and size 9 font (which should be at least size 12) as well as line spacing that looks to be around 0.5. Also, we spoke about ways to make the book look more professional and have more of a variety to it while also maintaining consistency. The title page and isbn is missing along with a number of things. Also, there is no reference to the author and illustrators for proper credit. So it makes it look like Jocko endorses or almost wrote the book since only his name appears in the beginning. I see that adding that quote in that way can run us into a number of red flags without his express approval especially with the way it’s laid out. Typically, quotes from people without approval are usually embedded within chapters and not front and center such as in this case.

Some animals are not in the book we are using because I needed it to match the song or make it much easier or appropriate. :grinning:

It’s to the tune of a familiar children’s song that I don’t remember and am not sure if it’s protected as a tune. It has words like “very well I thank you.”

Book formatting should start by next Thursday May 13 too. I’ll be able to work on the book layout once I get all the final illustrations.

I had some questions about perforated pages. 1.) Are we able to offer our books for sale through Amazon like other books? I’m trying to understand the wording of the “wholesale” channel not being allowed and wondered how far reaching that was. 2.)
