Can someone share a list of FBP components offered to employees we want to add more options to our offerings in the next financial year.
k
FBP as in?
s
Flexible Benefits Plan or Special Allowances
a
There are many : LTA, Children Education, Newspaper/periodicals, allowance towards research/professional development, Mobile & Internet, Conveyance, car lease, meal coupons, gym, etc. Though some of these would depend if the org is remote or if the org has their own office or not. For eg - Remote organizations cannot give conveyance or car lease benefits. Orgs without a physical office cannot give allowance towards gym. This is as per my understanding, please research a little bit and feel free to correct me wherever I am wrong :)
k
yes / @Megha can you add what we have at Springwroks?
m
At Springworks we have the following 1. Lifestyle Spending Account - This covers OTT, Internet , Gym and healthy snacks reimbursements. 2. Work from home setup 3. Workation : Since we are remote employees can travel to their favourite place , go on a vacation and work form there. We do have a stipulated amount set. 4. Learning and Development Budget 5. Medical Insurance : This covers therapy sessions and counselling as well 6. Wedding Gifts for employees who get married 7. Through EngageWith employee receive points on their Birthdays and Work Anniversaries that can be redeemed by them. 8. Corporate Card - For subscriptions or new tools that makes work productive.

@Megha Kishore / @Kartik Mandaville - The above list is not of FBPs. FBPs are tax saving instrument which an employer may provide on opt-in basis. This basically enables employee to have more control over their CTC structure. FBPs are not cash or extra benefit, if an employee opts in, it can be used to restructure the CTC and the amount towards the above list shared by me will be exempted from taxes. Though, few of the above list from Springworks can be included in FBPs.
k
I think you mean HRA etc?
a
HRA usually is not provided on opt-in basis. But yes, it can be.
