Thanks Dipali for doing this AMA. I want to know how to do or what major sources companies use for sourcing of candidates. We have been trying a lot, and for some roles like Unity, Design etc, it's very hard to get good candidates, especially on the experience side. We use LinkedIn majorly for hiring, have also started using Angelist and Indeed but the situation is still the same. We have tried cold reaching candidates, but not a lot of response there. I want to know from where the companies are sourcing good candidates, what are we missing/not doing here. Thank You.

Hi @Shriyam (Myracle.io) , Thank you for your question. While I cannot answer to your role specifically. The below are boardly how we source 1. Like you pointed out social media, Naukri, iimjobs, jobsforher etc 2. Campus placements - tie up with colleges / institutes that offer these specialisations. If you want experienced candidates and you have a good relationship with then they share their alumni list of people who are looking for work. 3. Ppo - take interns during the internship period and convert them to full time by giving PPOs, - this has a long lead time, but you already know and have worked with them 4. Try gig platforms like upwork, crosswork, freelance websites - people are looking for full time positions there. 5. Focus on diversity hire communities - lgbtq, pwd etc 6. Tie up with consultants 7. Get onto wa/slack/telegram groups that are dedicated for these profiles Become more visible on online platforms, showcase your culture, how you work, ensure glass door and ambition box reviews are great, if you are on the platform. These help candidates notice you. I hope this helps Regards Dipali
