Q1. Will the midpoint (salary benchmarking) differ for roles in the same department. Like VP HR, Manager HR. If yes then how midpoint progression pay a role. Pls explain via a table in excel.
Q2. Can anyone provide the name of companies do provide the salary benchmarking surveys. What is the cost involved. What data to look for prepare internally by the HR team before going for the external salary benchmarking.

The mid point will vary at different roles even though in the same function or department.
There are lot of companies that provide salary range data and also market benchmark like Deloitte, AON Hewitt, Mercer, etc.
