Hi. I am looking out for a Kannada translator. Preferably someone who has previously done some translation projects (in the education sector). SOW- Reading Hindi (Lesson Plans need to be translated to Kannada from Hindi) Reading and writing Kannada Has done translation and review work in the past (at least 1-2 projects) - Ideally with education projects Can work with word, excel files Work for 20-30 days Compensation : 2rps/word (for experienced translators) This is a wfh and we need 2 people for this, one for review and one for translation . In the past we have got feedback on translations (specially in south Indian languages) that the translated content is very terse and removed from how teachers read and write. that creates a disconnect. So we need a translator who understands this and a reviewer who can ensure that translation is simple and accessible to the readers.
