Hi, I've noticed recently that Rudderstack seems to be keeping open a lot of connections to our Postgres data warehouse. We only have two Postgres destinations set up, and yet, currently, the Rudderstack user in our Postgres instance has 29 connections open. Before we killed some of these connections, this number was as high as 326. This seems to be a fairly recent development and it's causing issues on occasion. Any ideas? We're using Rudderstack hosted data plane version 17062021.085748 and all of the queries that the connections are running are similar to the format

We are hosting open-source RudderStack in our Azure environment and using the control plane hosted on RudderStack’s cloud. We are using a Docker container on an Azure Windows VM, and Azure Blob storage for the staging files. We’re doing an initial test on pulling Pipedrive data into a SQL Server DB installed on the same VM as the RudderStack Docker container. We setup the Pipedrive source and SQL Server destination and did the first sync. On the RudderStack dashboard the sync was successful, however no files ever landed in our Azure Blob, and nothing landed in our destination DB. We were monitoring the live events window and saw data flowing on the source side. We initially had encoding errors on the destination side because we needed to URL encode our Azure blob key. We fixed that and ran the sync again with no errors, but still no files landed in Azure blob and nothing in the DB. We’ve not found reference on where we can find log files to try to troubleshoot what might be happening. If anyone has any guidance on how to best troubleshoot it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, I am having an issue with Facebook pixel. I am getting no errors, but the events aren't being sent to Facebook pixel. Is there a way I can troubleshoot what's going on?

i did notice, for what it's worth that a day later they just started to come through

so might be worth seeing if it just happens magically. seems it doesn't provide the real time ability for facebook to detect it - originally i thought it wasn't working

Hi everyone! Curious to hear if anyone has set up a Salesforce Sandbox destination before? I tried to but in there is no toggle option for “Sandbox mode” in my account. On the left is from the support docs, on the right is from my account. When I monitor live events, it returns a 400 for not being able to auth and I’m wondering if this is the cause.

I’ve been trying to use the Open Source version hosted in our Azure environment and am connecting to Pipedrive and sending data to SQL server in our Azure environment, using the control plane on Rudderstack’s cloud. The sync process runs and lands files in Azure, however I get errors about not being able to connect to our SQL server that’s behind our firewall in Azure and on the same VM as the Rudderstack data plan that’s running as a Docker container. My question is are you able to use a Cloud Extract source with the sync process running on a self hosted open source data plane implementation, because it seems like it’s trying to run from the Rudderstack Cloud environment rather than our environment as there are no records in our Postgres DB in wh_staging_files or wh_load_files. In the Rudderstack dashboard it says we’re on the free plan.
