Currently reading: War of Lanka
I’m about 300 pages in and finding it very hard to continue reading it further. Generally, I sometimes put down non-fiction books if the narrative is not interesting enough but fiction books, I don’t remember ever stopping reading one in the middle, no matter how shitty it is. Once I start a story, I just have to know the ending. This book is full of cringe in every chapter. I clearly remember reading Immortals of Meluha for the first time and awed by the tortoise warfare, description of the entire war sequence etc. But this book feels like preaching every opportunity it gets or revisionist history of India. Is anyone else reading/read the book and felt the same way?
