Finished Reading : Rich dad poor dad Currently Reading : Deep work by cal Newport & clean code by Robert Martin . I really struggle with focused work , I hope this book helps and I can convert reading into actions . Has anyone read this book deep work ? Who can share how it helped them in real life ?

My last company's CTO forced me into reading Deep work, I must say its very intense and well written, before reading this, I've never looked at work the way author portrays it. Definitely my productivity was improved.

Ironically, Deep Work is not about focused work, so if you're looking for that, read "Indistractable" by Nir Eyal instead. Deep Work is about mastering hard things fast and using total immersion, and working at the edge of your abilities to achieve that.
