    I miss the nice Puppet DSL with ability to lint and unit-test things

    Hello. I have a question regarding puppet-openssl module. I’m seeing this commit: https://github.com/voxpupuli/puppet-openssl/commit/c51a2ab620954e00d1e15dd753e508fbbf2d22d4, but it’s not in the official release yet. For now I’ve added it to Puppetfile with :commit option, so it’s not urgent, but wondering when it’ll be ā€œofficialā€. Thank you!

    Ewoud: Is this PR good to go? Would be good to get it in to the next release.

    probably a good time to migrate our puppet-lint plugins to voxpupuli-rubocop and drop ruby < 2.7

    I really hate maintaining the tests for puppet-jenkins and wonder if people actually use the credentials types

    it would be less painful if we had proper plugin support, and https://github.com/jenkinsci/plugin-installation-manager-tool would probably be better

    writing that would probably be relatively easy: concat a plugins.txt file and run it

    bleh, it passes if I just run rspec ./spec/acceptance/xtypes/jenkins_credentials_spec.rb -e GitLabApiTokenImpl but then fails if I run the whole suite …

    Hello, everyone. I’m installing puppetboard module (https://forge.puppet.com/modules/puppet/puppetboard/readme). It’s looking for epel repo and i do NOT want to use it. I am not seeing any options to disable it. Wondering if anyone did it successfully? Error message:
    Could not find class ::epel.
    Thank you!

    Since there are noises about puppet 8 again, do we have a plan for adding puppet 8 support to mods? Will it be one at a time or a massive modsync type operation to see which mods need porting effort?

    @runlolarun how do you expect to get modern dependencies on an ancient distribution like EL8, without EPEL?
