    Is there anyone out there that's using Ivanti/Landesk? I've written a very rudimentary module to install the Ivanti agent (and such), pull the certificate from the core server and start various services. I've not yet push it to github because of all of the noise in the commit history but if anyone's interested, I can clean it up and push a temporary branch.

    Does anyone know if you can run 
    sudo puppet lookup foo --explain --compile --node foo.domain.internal
    against a non-default hiera.yaml file?

    That would inherit some of your environment variables try 
    sudo -i puppet ...

    But we dont use that file so it shouldnt even be looking at it.

    I just want the puppet lookup command to go against what we have in our code repo vs what we have as the default. Otherwise lookup wont work (the command). Puppet agent runs are fine

    and that's fine, set global to default and make /etc/puppetlabs/puppet/hiera.yaml something like that
