Hi there! My colleagues hit the puppet-agent packaging issue on Debian. They did distro upgrade from Buster to Bullseye on a server recently. APT was reconfigured accordingly (

puppet7.list

looks sane). The problem is

puppet-agent

version

7.15.0-1buster

seems to be higher than

7.15.0-1bullseye

.. so

apt

doesn’t upgrade the puppet-agent package because of that (at least I think this is the reason).

? To configure agents to communicate through a proxy using

pe.conf

, specify values for the

http_proxy_host

and

http_proxy_port

settings in

/etc/puppetlabs/puppet/puppet.conf
