    missing
    type="submit"
    ... knew it was something obvious
  • a
    yeah, replace that
    type="button"
    for`type="submit"`
  • p
    I do have a cancel button that is also not working.
  • p
    Copy code
    <input type="button" name="cancel" value="Cancel" class="btn" id="button-id-cancel" hx-get="/hx_r_project/2/" hx-swap="outerHTML">
  • a
    is it not triggering the GET request?
  • p
    Right
  • p
    It is inside the form fragment:
  • p
    Copy code
    <form class="card-body" hx-put="/hx_u_project/1" hx-swap="outerHTML" hx-target="this" method="PUT">
  • p
    I tried removing the hx-swap on the cancel button.
  • a
    what if you change it to
    <button name="cancel" value="Cancel" class="btn" id="button-id-cancel" hx-get="/hx_r_project/2/" hx-swap="outerHTML">Cancel</button>
    ?
  • p
    That worked!

    So I've been thinking more about the boosted redirect and I think I want to make a stronger case for it (if anyone has a better solution I'm all about doing it that way)
  • h
  • h
    My form is htmx-ified so it's going to get that 302
  • h
    right now I have it 302ing to a custom "redirect only" url that catches the redirect and returns a 200 / HX-Redirect
  • h
    but really don't want to do a full page refresh for that
  • h
    The issue is that the direct could go anywhere - it's a custom piece of logic to determine where the user is going by default + they can pass a "next" querystring
  • h
    the prior suggestion was Hx-Retarget and hx-push-url from the final destination - but that requires the destination to know if the user has been redirected there or not
  • h
    So what I'd like to do is add an hx-boosted-redirect header that acts like hx-redirect but boosts the load vs reloads the page completely
  • h
    I got today + a long weekend so unless anyone is opposed I'm going to start on it
  • m
    I'm happy to consider it, esp. w/ good docs/description of the problem
  • a
    I'm following you about 50% atm... but if this is what I think it is, then I think we'd greatly benefit from a solution here as well

    Terrified, I post this question... what are ya'll liking these days for CSS frameworks? We use BS5 and have played with TW, UI Kit, and Bulma. But I'm building a first PWA now and browsing for super lightweight CSS frameworks.

    😂

    Hi Paul. Sorry, I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing with you
  • f

  • a
    We've been asking ourselves the same question

    I'm a total newbie to posting on these things and don't know etiquette
  • a
    No etiquette here.. just be kind and you'll be fine 🙂
