Thanks a lot

Any suggestions? I'd like to send data from my alpine.js $store as parameters to a hx-get. The context is: I have some toggle-able filters & I'd like to send the ones selected to update a product grid

guys does anyone have any examples on how htmx can send a request of an array of inputs with a name instead of each input having its own name , example here https://htmx.org/examples/click-to-edit/ this sends parameters: {"firstName":"joey","lastName":"Blow","email":"joe@blow.com"} however what i want is to send this parameters: {"firstName":"miles", "list": ["cat" , "dog", "bird"] }

I'd look at using

hx-vals

with the

js

prefix https://htmx.org/attributes/hx-vals/ which would allow including a dynamic value.

If you use the array format for the list input

name="list[]"

you should get an array. You'd use the same name for all list inputs.

What's with the browser scroll behavior on links that have been

hx-boost

-ed?

You can see it on https://somememes.com/ anytime you change pages

unclear to me what's happening, but it looks like the browser is scrolling down to the replaced element

I'm replacing a child element of the body that doesn't include the header, so aon every page change it scrolls down just past the header.

starting new project, best recommendation for Go framework friendly to HTMX, fragments, templating, SSE?

give kyoto.codes a shot... it's still early but I think it shows a lot of promise

i'm trying it now.... thanks! not a fan of the submodule usage in the starter, but i'm playing around, tailwind included by default seems good

Do you target something other than the body? If so it is scrolling to that target.

Thank-you alejandros! Your help was invaluable! If anyone else is looking for this, this is how I got multiple values to be sent by htmx from the alpine.js $store This code sample below shows one of several similar buttons; on click the button toggles membership of the button in the alpine $store. And then the Alpine $store is POSTed to /grid using fetchSeriesFilters function. function fetchSeriesFilters() { return Alpine.store('series').to_array() } <button x-data @click="$store.series.toggle('{{ button_id }}')" x-data :class="$store.series.is_set('{{ button_id }}') && 'selected_button'" hx-post=“/grid" hx-vals='javascript:{series: fetchSeriesFilters()}' hx-target="#grid" >

Thanks alejandros for your input , can you refer me to an example if you have any , much appreciated, iam sending the request to FastAPI and I want to update my schema / validator in the exact format and iam getting a 422 , dunno what iam doing wrong really

Hmmm is that htmx or browser behavior?

htmx

looks like you are targeting #content

Right click view source life 4eva

OK, so here's what you need:

yeah, since I have django render render a partial

I think that should work

I had no idea: https://htmx.org/attributes/hx-swap/

awesome let me try that

it might be

show

(sorry, it's been a bit and I'm old)

but since you are overriding the target (which is usually body) you'll need to override the scroll behavior (which defaults to "the top of the targeted element")

ah gotcha

show:window:top

might be the trick, looking at the docs (being old is not fun, my brain is full from implementing

catch/finally

in hyperscript 😑 )

Can anyone help me figure out what's wrong with the file upload with the progress bar problem? The file is uploaded but the progress bar doesn't show the upload progress properly. It reaches 100% right away no matter how big the file is. The console log shows the evt.detail.loaded always equals evt.detail.total. I think that's why the problem happened. But I don't know how to fix it.
