    obviously try these separately
  • s
That on load shows up, even when afterSettle does not. It also shows up 61 times, is that normal?
  • s
with 'every' it still does not always show up
  • m
OK, so the event queue has been eliminated as an issue
  • m
How are you including htmx and hyperscript in the page?
  • m
I assume you are hitting refresh to trigger this behavior?
  • m
    Or are you navigating?
  • m
my gut tells me this is a timing issue: somehow hyperscript isn't initialized sometimes
  • m
    oooh, try this:
  • m
    hx-trigger="load delay:100ms"
  • m
that might show that my gut is correct
  • s
A lot of the page uses hyperscript so that would be odd
  • s
In the head, we use a local copy of the hyperscript w9y and htmx 1.6.1 from unpkg
  • s
    f5 reload
  • s
    I'll try this
  • m
    yes, that's my guess
  • m
    a timing issue around loading
  • m
stupid javascript gets to be just built into the browser
  • m
    😑
  • s
It's kind of hard to know for sure, since it breaks so randomly but it appears to be better?
  • m
    lol
  • s
I'll replace the logs with some actual code again to test
  • m
write a hypermedia javascript library they said write a front end scripting language they said it'll be fun they said
  • s
    🥲
  • g
    no one said that
  • s
I think it is working well consistently now! :D
  • s
Thank you very much for the support :)
  • m
    😑
  • m
one other thing you might try: move the hyperscript tag before the htmx tag and see if you can drop the delay
  • m
the javascript asynchronous of state absolute
