    Got some time to look at some old stuff and update dependencies and I'm like oh yeah it's been awhile since I looked at htmx I wonder what version they're on I should look at the changes for anything breaking. Checks current version 1.6.1... oh..okay...what version am I using..checks assets file...

    Can anyone who's used Svelte or hyperHTML compare it to htmx? They both seem interesting because they are centered around pure HTML. They are still SPA frameworks though. And what's up with every SPA framework implementing some sort of SSR (server-side rendering)? Why would you use an SPA framework for SSR and not just do SSR to begin with is my question? These questions came to mind because I was trying to convince someone to use htmx and they brought up Svelte or hyperHTML as better alternatives. Couldn't say much because I'm not familiar with either.

    Just noticed htmx has no support for 
    formnovalidate
    and similar button attributes. Is there a recommended workaround?

    I would love to contribute if I knew what to do 😥 A similar issue was already open https://github.com/bigskysoftware/htmx/issues/623 I need to disable htmx validation somehow... time to dig into the source!

    OTOH, maybe I could use 
    hx-vals
    to include some dummy value where htmx expects to validate and bypass the problem 🙄 then ignore the value server side

    at first i used to use intercooler with php then i started using intercooler with python now, i use htmx with go it's been a journey!

    no success here, looks like 
    hx-vals
    does not override form input values another possiblity I can think of is to listen to 
    htmx:validation:halted
    and manually submit the form how can I submit a form the htmx way? 
    submit()
    is not doing it
