    I'm hoping the experience is nicer than what I remember

    I had it solved somehow, at least I remembered I did (might have manually changed the .js output). Then xmas holidays came. Then I came back to it and ragequit after an hour of trying to disable eslint with various configurations.

    Staying pure Haxe feels better anyway. 😄

    If I ever actually make the software. It's just for hobby personal use and very unimportant.

    I fixed it by having a macro just add
    /* eslint-disable */
    to the top of the compiled js output

    That's a nice trick.

    Why would you run eslint if you're using haxe anyway?

    I don't know what eslint is

    All I wanted was to get rid of
    unexpected use of self

    and eslint-disable does that :p

    React-tools run it directly in some quite strict mode.

    Yeah but that's only a linter error, from a linter you shouldn't need

    If all your own js comes from haxe you could just disable it entirely (don't know how, I don't use react-tools)

    it's an error I get instantly with react-next with a basic
    Copy code
    haxe
    class Main {
      static function main(){..}
    }

    @:expose('App')
    class App extends ... {...}

    It's not really an error

    And it doesn't come from react-next either, it's from your build environment (from webpack, npm scripts or I don't know what)

    it's from
    npx create-react-app proj

    React-tools I think, then

    IIRC they made react-tools integrated at some point

    I wouldn't recommend create-react-app for haxe, it sets up a whole world of unneeded things for haxe

    I don't have a create-haxe-react-app though :(

    It's the best way I found to setup projects for react/react-native because the haxe templates are usually running on really old react versions

    Are there any examples of style workflow with haxe react-next
