    i think the only reason why i ever wanted to do 2.5d isometric rather than 3d-locked camera isometric was so i didn't need to learn the 3d part 😆

    the thing I think about 3D is that it makes the 2D result come out more naturally - with 2D you have to do all the perspective or effects in other ways - that just seems harder sometimes

    I think if I ever went the 3D path it would be to produce 2D assets

    yeah - thought about that too - seems way easier to boil a 3D model down to 2D - well until I think about mastering Blender - but then I'm not much of a drawer
