    Had the same problem. Long story short: don’t call Assets in static constructors, because Assets may still not be initialized yet

    How do I deliberately bring haxeui processing to a pause? I've got some states it would be helpful for because they don't need haxeui's features anyway. Like, "they don't have a gui to speak of".

    HaxeUI object’s are flixel objects, so you can remove them or do whatever you normally do

    There is no enterframe or anything, it’s all reactive based off your internal update, render, and mouse events

    btw @brave-kangaroo-30399 - were you still thinking about rejigging the haxeui-flixel backend to make it intergrate with flixel a little more naturally? Not sure what you thought, or what you decided on
