    Plasma is a better DE imo. Also, distro's like that are usually based on eg Ubuntu 20.04 ie a bit on the old side.

    i think i had a VM with plasma at some point... i didnt like it for some reason, though i have no idea why

    Ah, hybrid graphics. One of those things that either works or completely breaks depending on you luck.

    some parts of the UI can be chaotic but at the same time at least it isn't taking away options, just kinda hides it away in hamburger menus

    I had to just use nvidia only or integrated only gpu to run my games properly on proton because alt+tabbing would randomly freeze my game

    What I like most about Plasma is the customisability. I can do whatever I want with it.

    I tried GNOME, seems polished with Wayland, overall how it is integrated in Fedora with the GNOME Software and keyboard shortcuts but that's about it

    Whereas Gnome is a bit ugly sometimes, and gets in my way.

    regular gtk title bars don't bother me as much as GNOMEs

    Gnome doesn't implement server side decorations on Wayland so all apps have to do their own uglier ones. (I had to implement CSD's in Kinc just because of Gnome.)

    they're doing the libadwaita thing so idk if my breeze-gtk theme will ever work properly at this point especially with flatpaks
