Anyone know how travel insurance works if I plan on driving to Canada with my own vehicle and won't have any formal "proof" of departure and return date? (I spoke to a supervisor at Allianz and they say I likely won't be covered in the event of a claim. They do not except gas receipts or EZ-pass records as proof.) Any insight? Or recommendation which company to use?
