which is a serious flaw. if we're given a card called "Fran's Fortuitous Flax" we should be able to use it at every part of the story.

So my question regarding encounter 3 is || The civilian can be moved 4 spaces by spending one animus and their facing does not matter, correct ? In addition everyone can take the sense token. Their is no need to be adjacent? ||

When a target is thrown, what determines their facing?

I think I remember reading this somewhere, but if I'm going to use an item with an attack, can I play the item first and use the attack to battle flow the item?

normally on the card it says where they're thrown. most of the ones Ive seen use the random direction die

Yes. It it listed on the levelling up table in the rule book.

As @skyflight mentioned, but it has not to be the same as the OATHSWORN that got it via the story part.

No, carry that bonus perm. token over as well. You may periodically gain these kinds of tokens based on choices you make, so make note of them.
