Maybe accounting players with some sort of dodge ability? If someone had a “can’t be hit this turn” ability, and they were the only ones left, then perhaps this is just covering off the edge case?

not sure if any characters have that ability, I haven't checked all of them, but our team definitely does not have that. But yeah that could be covering one angle, but then why didn't they just write "3, move north 3".

Waves need to travel along the hex 'lines' going across the table, anyone standing in any of the green zones can't be hit by the wave attack. So if every friendly is stood in one of the green areas, then the wave whiffs.

Wave attacks also ignore all LoS and obstacles, so can't hide from them 🙂

Hi, Do I understand the rules correctly: If a boss doesn't have LOS to any target he will do the movement to the closest model regardless the rules and if adjecent can hit normally?

Of course if it has movement and hit on his encounter card

Yes, but specifically the closest Oathsworn. Allies are ignored unless specifically referenced.

Posting here aswell as Facebook for visibility. I have a stupid question I’m afraid…The order of operations on might deck shuffles… The hypothetical scenario… I want to draw 2 yellow and 3 white, there is only 2 white left. I draw what I can then shuffle the white deck and draw my third card What do I do next? I have two white cards that haven’t been shuffled in and one that came from the new deck. Do I shuffle again? Do I use the dice for place holders on all white cards drawn and shuffle all at once regardless of some being in mid play? I’m sure this is clear/clarified somewhere but if some kind doke can elaborate/point me to the FAQ? Thanks lovely Oathsworn people 👍

draw your two, leave them to the side, shuffle deck, draw third, place with original two, put remainder back in tray, leave 3 that you drew out as discard pile

Yeh that’s how I’ve been playing. Just feels a little weird having cards in a discard pile from the current deck…that weren’t pulled from the current deck 🙃

yeah, I don't recall seeing a hard, fast rule for it tho. Not a real gamechanger either, imo

But that's a common play in most regular card games, to draw remaining, shuffle discard pile, draw the needed on and put them in the new empty discard pile 🤷‍♂️

Are all rules available online? Im playing on Saturday but wanna read the rules first. Should I read both Story and Encounter rule book? Are there spoilers in any of them?
