Yes I believe so. All dice removed except the last die will trigger reactions.

Per BGG FAQ - "Q. If I break multiple HP with a single attack and I remove the last HP die will I draw a reaction for the second to last Die I broke? A. Yes, This die causes a reaction but the last one does not. The enemy will perform that reaction then immediately die"

The Blade's archetype card for cleaving slide: according to shadowborne on the bgg forums, the 2 move and the 4 charge through are supposed to be along the same straight line, can anyone help me understand why? the card doesn't specifically say it does, so I'm wondering if I'm misunderstanding a rule, or if the card itself wasn't worded well

Also, when starting a charge through, does there need to be a target adjacent to the attacker? For instance could the Charge Through 4 run through four hexes, where the first hex was empty, but the last three had valid targets?

Move exactly 2 in a straight line. If you did not have to stop due to a hex being occupied, you may then:

    (Attack)Charge Through 4

Attack once and apply to all targets.

move 2 in any direction, straight line Charge through 4 in a straight line

could move 2 NW then charge 4 SE. Doesn't seem to matter that the directions aren't the same. On a charge the hexes can be empty when starting or ending

@Tonzin could verify for sure. my handle on rules is tenuous at best, sometimes πŸ˜„

You're right, you can pivot directions as long as you adhere to the movement requirements

Cleaving Slide is πŸ‘Œfor the movement as much as not moreso than the AoE

Encounter 18 || Can the allies still attack when they are outside the board? One of my gamemates is saying that their needs to be one soldier on the board to collect animus and make attacks. I am saying that they can only attack when they are outside of the Board only that collect animus ||

You can play Life Bloom from the Grove Maiden as an interrupt, my question is if the Ancient Guardian is the target can you play Life Bloom so that the attack wouldn't attack anything or would the attack transfer to a valid target? Life Bloom kills the Guardian to give animus.

I don't have the game on hand right now, what is the trigger for the Life Bloom ability?

The Ancient Guardian just needs to be on the board

Just went and looked at it. You would be able to take the hit and trigger it during the "After an adjacent enemy draws damage" timing. Thereby soaking the attack and still granting you the benefit.

If you spend a Redraw token on a Might check and miss, do you get the token back?

Wait so You use only white cards for Basic Checks/Most Checks. You use only white cards and Empower Tokens for Might Checks. And you use your Might Track and Empower Tokens for rounds of Combat. Why are they called MIGHT Checks if you can't use your MIGHT Track, but they have a DIFFERENT exception in the form of Empower tokens?? That combination is just twice as confusing. But someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Do you place a time/location token at the first place in each chapter (when it says Where your story begins?)

Stupid question, under tally loot, when getting the four common items: can we choose or are they random?
