You'll use the yellow constantly. If you choose to play the flail on your first attack of the round then you add an additional red card/dice for that singular attack. Then place the flail in the battleflow area.

I’ve just been knocked back into a large monster. I would suffer 1 hp loss, but would the monster also suffer 1 hp loss? (spoiler for a ch2 boss card).

Yes. It will specifically tell you if you ignore the boss for the sake of knockback.

Just attacked a large monster. If I use halberd, I would extend AOE to include 3 more hexes of the monster. This would mean 3 damage added, is this correct? Assuming yes. (ch2 equipment card)

It seems so from AOE rules. If so, super useful!

Yup. There are some weapons that do AoE type of effects that do not allow for this bonus damage but they will call it out on the cards

Since friendly character includes the character itself in abilities, such as when it says friendly character within 3 range or such. I presume Warden's ability card to use battleflow one card for friendly adjacent character means Warden himself too?

A character is in range of itself but not adjacent.

So you are saying you are only allowed to send a runner if a token is placed for that location? I have always played that the runner does not require a token.
