    Mate you are too harsh on yourself, you should be proud of that. Your figures are gonna look great.

    Looks good, only advice I could give would be that black lining helps a lot with pretty much all minis and to practise nmm. Nmm is difficult and I am just learning that myself

    @GOOSE81, you and @SAM_626_95 seem to have used the exact same colour scheme for the priest. Are you two friends? ;}

    Any help for a fairly beginner painter with a lot of citadel contrast paints (and just starting to play with an airbrush but only for priming). Just primed and based in grey seer. Would you just slap an appropriate contrast colours on it, or are there any other tips / things I should be aware of? Advice appreciated.

    If you’ve got an airbrush, and contrast paint already, one technique is to “zenithal prime”, which involves spraying with white from above. (White acrylic ink works well if you’re using an airbrush) You can then airbrush contrast over this and instantly get shadows and highlights. Works well on miniatures with lots of “texture”

    Do you know any tutorial vids that may help with this. I guess you would need to swap out the colours depending if your hitting the fur or the tail etc. then would you just use the brush on after to add details I.e small rat tails and wound etc? I have some really old citadel acrylics too, or would you stick to contrast? - thanks

    Yeah will still need to use a brush to do further highlights detail, this is just a quick way of getting down base colour with shade/highlights quickly. Picked it up from the “squidmar” you tube channel and just trying to find the appropriate video.

    This is with “speed paint” not contrast but the concepts the same.

    Im no expert, but think it’s one of many useful painting techniques. Give it a go and see how you get on! There some great content creators on you tube. Personal favourites are midwinter miniatures, squidmar, and ninjon. Plenty of “new painter” content on there, as well as advanced techniques.

    I did a series of videos specific to oathsworn that use a lot of Contrast paints and a zenithal prime as well.
