    About the competition... So if you win 1 round of the 13 (heroes+rat) then you go into the final and then there will be another wote for the winner paintjob of the 13?

    Good system, except for the broodmother. It should only be the heroes, cannot really compare a paintjob of her vs heroes imo.

    You could take your brown and green colors and add a little lighter shades of each - or some white to create less saturated versions of the same color and do some highlights along the top edges of bark and vines and stuff if you want to kick it up a notch

    I watch a lot of different YouTube mini painters and there are so many good ones, but I've probably learned the most from https://www.youtube.com/c/MarcoFrisoniNJM

    Just looking at these I can tell this is more in your wheel house than mine hahah. I started painting with Gloomhaven, I've painted almost every mini in that game. This tree is my first in Oathsworn. I'm a little scared to paint the most of these things, they're so pretty.

    Thank you for sharing! I'm not too far past where it sounds like you are. For me sharing was a huge hurdle but got me lots of great feedback that led to some core colors and techniques that helped me make a huge jump to where I now feel ok sharing. I don't want to presume, but can pass on tips if you like.

    Put a bunch of paint on your brush. Then take it all off. And paint. Haha. ;}

    @trevvert lol. Just happy to pay some kindness forward! Drybrushing is huge for rocks and trees (which is most of the terrain pack). Most important thing there is a cheap makeup brush. I use this but anything is fine. Get a lighter brown (mix in white or gray if you don't have one) on the dry brush, lightly brush a paper towel until almost nothing comes off, then lightly brush the tree bark. Instant highlighting!
