I was watching some Ninjon videos and noticed him using a vortex mixer. Think I'm going to give this a try as I am tired of shaking the crap out of pots. Anyone use one of these before? Looks like there are several different brands out there.

I did go ahead and add some highlighting. The finished product were a bit further down from the first pics I posted.

I have one since some months now, not only quality of life improvement, but also helps with those pesky little paints who just don’t want to mix right when you do it by hand. Can’t give a brand recommendation though, just bought one of the many cheaper ones out there cause I didn’t want to spend 100$ on it. ^^

Last miniature needed for first chapter done, so now we are ready for our first session on the 3rd of september 🙂

I found my paints at my brother's house. Remember these old ass pots? Gonna see if I can bring them back to life.

I wanna make a boatload of ivy and someone suggests using floor polish. The one they recommend is like $44/28 oz. Yeahno. Anyone have any recommendations?

Yes . And I also got one or two of those old foundations, the best paints gw did produce in my opinion. These are real 1 coat of paint and all the right colour. 👌

And it's still wet, the black ones ar mostly dried out 🤷‍♂️

Is the cur wearing boots or does he just like some platforms on his feet over his pants/bodysuit? If they are shoes/boots I can't see where they end and his pants begin...

I painted him as a sort of onesie with leather soles. I figured that's a style somewhere. There's a sort of ridge under the bottom most strap but they are very minimal, slim shoes

Yeah, definitely has some sort of sole (that was the word I was searching for before!) but no actual shoe. I think I'll do him like that was well.

Finished my starting party though. My group are playing our first game next week.
