What dropper bottles are you using if your re-bottling? The ones I picked up let paint out the dropper inside the lid when shaken which is inconvenient.

I got mine from a company called Shesto (tho I work in the same warehouse they ship from so I got them at trade price), I've then added paint "toppers" to the bottles from a guy I saw on FB so the colour painted on top matched the colour painted in the bottle,

It's a wip as I've a lot of bottles to do but there's an example of the decanted citadel contrast into dropper bottles, and the tops added to the vallejo xpress paints for you,

I also need to get rid of the god awful citadel pots.... sigh

I was debating doing it for a while and in the end the final push was the stands I wanted worked out better for the smaller pots as they'd hold more for the same price.

So many of my pots are, even though they were properly closed, are just drying in as if they were sunbathing on the roof during the summer, it is ridiculous. I'll probably find a nice youtube vid on "how to migrate your shÍtty citadel paints" or something 😄

Mine had sat for a good 8 months before this point. I bought a 200ml bottle of vallejo airbrush thinner and added some of that to the pot with a small metal paint ball and shock vigorously before then pouring the results through a funnel into the new dropper bottle. Managed to save all bar maybe 3-5 paints...

I do something similar with all my Vallejo paint bottles - I dip them in white then dip them in their bottled color.

What dropper bottles do you guys recommend if I have over 200 pots of citadel stuff to migrate? 😄

I ended up buying some medical syringes and a set of metal screw in tips of various diameters - you drop it in a pot, pull back the plunger and then push the paint out into your dropper bottle - peel off the label (which is super easy on the Citadel paints) and slap it on the new bottle. Didn't really take too much time honestly. For me, it is the mother effing lids on the Citadel pots. As noted, they don't close right and they sure as shit don't stay open well unless you push them behind that dumb little plastic tab. I got frustrated with that tab one night while painting late and decided to cut it off the pot with my xacto knife. Ended up slipping and slicing my thumb open, severing the nerve. I should probably have sued Citadel. Maybe that would have gotten them to change their pots to something better for all of us.

I found bottles and lids that at first seemed perfect but have learned that when shaken, a little paint can come out the tip of the dropper and make a mess up in the cap which has been a bit of a bummer. Hoping to find another dropper bottle to use - would be awesome if we could just buy the same stuff Vallejo or Scale 75 uses

You'll want 20ml bottles for Citadel contrast paints

regular Citadel paints fit fine inside a 15ml bottle
