Quick question about targetting as im setting up for our game. The special rules says that "When each Scar Tribesman picks a Target, unless the Tribesman is adjacent to an Oathsworn, they will target the nearest civilian" However the first card called Mutilate says "1) The Berserkers target the Oathsworn closest to the center of the board. If tied, pick the highest health oathsworn" 1: Does the AI card overwrite the special rules board for the berserkers in this instance. So that the berserkers will go for an oathsworn? 2: Lets say that the tribesman tries to get towards an oathsworn, cannot get all the way there, but ends up next to a civilian. Will he forego his attack or will he kill the civilian?

If the stage card gives a specific target then it will override the Special Rules Board. The Special Rule Prey On The Weak is to determine who to target.

And we just finished this and story 5. Probably my favorite encounter so far 🙂 Really cool, and loved the theme of how all of the bastards ganged up on you when you killed one of their comrades

We've got the Witch, Penitent, Warbear, and Archer going - and we starved a bit in the woods, all of us are at 4 HP, only one empowerment token each

Just swapped some gear out (we are sneaking up on them) so we may have a bit of a better chance

Phew we made it - barely. Ruptured spleen knocked out my penitent, then the frenzied clan chief destroyed my warbear, but the witch and ranger carried us to victory!

I know we've had this chat before. Moved past it, but need the reminder: The last three of these bastards have 1 life left. The huntress kills all three simultaneously (using a card that says so) ending the encounter. Do we still go through two reactions?

Yes. You will resolve 2 reactions with the last enemy that has the HP die removed and then that final enemy will die ending the encounter.

Yeah. Thankfully, it is just with the final standing enemy rather than all of them so hopefully it is a little less brutal

Still rough though since it is back to back actions without you being able to adjust between attacks

Yeah, tear up thsoe defense cards, buuuut only 1 enemy makes that much more managable.
